Dear [MP’s Name],

I am writing as a constituent to ask you to support the restoration of beaver populations and the creation of healthier, more natural rivers across the UK.

Beavers are a native species that can help create wetlands, improve habitats for wildlife and restore natural processes within river ecosystems. I believe there should be greater support for nature-based approaches to restoring our rivers and increasing biodiversity.

I would particularly welcome your support for the Making Space for Water campaign and its calls for greater protection and restoration of nature-rich river corridors, wetlands and beaver populations.

Could you please let me know whether you support the campaign and what steps you would be willing to take to support the responsible return of beavers?

Thank you for taking the time to respond.

Kind regards,
