Meet the Founder
Hi, I'm Aaron, the founder of Wild Youth.
If there's one thing you should know about me, it's that I've always been completely animal-obsessed. Growing up, animals weren't just pets—they were family, teachers, and some of my best friends.
Over the years, I've been lucky enough to share my life with Sasha, Bella, Hiedi, Rosie, Dolly, Snowy, and Tinkerbell. Yes... I know that's a lot of dogs! And I couldn't possibly forget Bob the fish, who definitely deserves an honourable mention. Every one of them has taught me something different, but together they've shown me what unconditional love, loyalty, patience, and kindness really look like.
That love for animals eventually led me to study Politics before completing a Master's in Public Policy. I realised that while caring for animals is important, creating lasting change means influencing the decisions that affect their lives. Through campaigning, public policy, education, and advocacy, we can improve animal rights on a much bigger scale.
I've been fortunate to work with charities, campaigners, and policymakers on issues ranging from wildlife conservation to farm animal welfare, but Wild Youth is my passion project. I created it because I believe everyone should have the opportunity to stand up for animals and see that their voice really can make a difference.
Whether you're here to learn, take action, support a campaign, or simply because you love animals as much as I do, I'm so glad you've found us.
