Meet the Founder

Hi, I'm Aaron, the founder of Wild Youth.

If there's one thing you should know about me, it's that I've always been completely animal-obsessed. Growing up, animals weren't just pets – they were family, teachers and some of my best friends.

Over the years, I've been lucky enough to share my life with Sasha, Bella, Hiedi, Rosie, Dolly, Snowy and Tinkerbell. Yes... I know that's a lot of dogs! And I couldn't possibly forget Bob the fish, who definitely deserves an honourable mention. Every one of them has taught me something different, but together they've shown me what unconditional love, loyalty, patience and kindness really look like.

That love for animals eventually led me to study Politics before completing a Master's in Public Policy. Along the way, I realised that caring about animals is only the beginning. If we want to create lasting change, we need to influence the decisions, policies and public attitudes that shape their lives.

My experience has taken me into campaigning, policy, advocacy, communications and conservation, working with charities, campaigners and policymakers on issues ranging from wildlife protection to animal welfare. I've seen first-hand how a well-planned campaign can turn an idea into action and, ultimately, contribute to meaningful change.

That's where Wild Youth Consultancy comes in.

I created the consultancy to help individuals, grassroots groups, charities and organisations turn their passion for animals, wildlife and the environment into effective campaigns. Whether you're starting with an idea, developing an existing campaign or looking for ways to reach more people and influence decision-makers, I want to make campaigning feel more accessible, strategic and achievable.

Wild Youth remains a place to learn, discover and take action, but through the consultancy, I'm also able to work directly with people and organisations who are ready to take their campaigns further.
